Lucky's Jig
A delightful piece just in time for St. Patrick's Day or for any time of the year. This Irish Jig is catchy and fun and features a quick 6/8 time signature. The left hand is reminiscent of highland bagpipes, and at the end of the piece the right hand imitates an Irish penny whistle. This piece was originally written as a singalong song called "Lucky the Leprechaun" for young children. This new version of the song is the same likable melody arranged for intermediate players and renamed for a more grown-up audience. Great for teens and adults!
