Something Beautiful
Something Beautiful is a lyrical piece inspired by an experience I had one summer when I temporarily lost movement in my left hand for several weeks. As I sat feeling very discouraged, I looked out my window and suddenly noticed the hundreds of yellow wildflowers gently swaying in the fields behind my home. The words “God always sends something beautiful” came to my mind and I was filled with great peace and comfort. I wrote this piece as movement began to return in my hand. It's a reminder to me that even in our hardest trials we can always find something beautiful.
